Don’t miss the largest ethnic festival in Arkansas! The 34th Annual Little Rock International Greek Food Festival promises great food, live entertainment, tours, and much more! May 18th through the 20th, 2018 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Little Rock, AR!
Souvlaki, gyro, spanakopita, baklava. If reading those words set off your salivary glands, then you do not want to miss the 2018 Little Rock International Greek Food Festival.
The Arkansas Greek Food Festival is an amazing opportunity to experience a variety of cultures – not to mention awesome Mediterranean foods!
Cuisine at the Little Rock International Greek Food Festival comes from the many cultures that make up the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Greek, Armenian, Georgian, Romanian, Russian, Indian, Middle Eastern. There’s even a little English and American influence in there!
Did I mention that there will even be a drive-through for takeout?
The menu for this year’s festival is looking as good as last. If that doesn’t mean much to you consider this: it’s the state’s largest ethnic festival and it’s celebrating it’s 34th year. With stats like that, you KNOW you’re in for a great time!
While all that amazing Greek and Mediterranean food is a big part of the draw, it’s not the only reason to attend.
The Little Rock International Greek Food Festival also offers items for sale from around the world. The on-site, Old World Market will be offering imported goods, such as pastries, olive oil, and Orthodox icons.
Tours of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church will also be available. Come learn about the rich history and tradition of the Orthodox Christian faith. You’ll also be treated to the state’s largest collection of Byzantine iconography!
Entertainment for the 2018 International Greek Food Festival is still being determined but the schedule promises to be full and exciting. Years past have seen three full days of ethnic dance troupes and live bands representing a variety of cultures.
Best of all, it’s all for a good cause!
Over the past 33 years, the festival has raised more than $1.3 million dollars for more than 30 charities throughout central Arkansas. This year’s festival will continue to benefit the Annunciation Scholarship Foundation, Annunciation Ministries, and a variety of nonprofit organizations.
