If you’ve never experienced Caroling In The Caverns at Blanchard Springs Caverns, you’re missing out on one of the most unusual and stirring holiday attractions in the country! November 24th through December 17th, 2017.
Blanchard Springs Caverns, located just north of Mountain View, AR in Ozark National Forest, is an incredible, living cave that is always worth a visit. Once the end-of-the-year holidays roll around, however things really heat up with Caroling In The Caverns.
During Caroling In The Caverns, local musicians perform regional interpretations of classic carols. That may sound more typical than amazing but that’s because I haven’t mentioned that they perform these carols while deep within Blanchard Springs Caverns!
Caroling In The Caverns is an annual Christmas event held inside one of Blanchard Springs Caverns cathedral-like chambers. Ticket holders descend to the seating area via elevator, where they can enjoy the grandeur and mystery of the living cave’s beautiful limestone rooms and formations.
Once the singing begins, you wont believe your ears.
The music, surrounding you in this natural chamber, will transport you in ways you did not expect. The voices of the singers resonate deeply with the natural acoustics, doubling soulfully as if in some beautiful, vaulted concert hall.
Some audience members choose to add their voices to the chorus during the experience. As long as your contribution isn’t disruptive, that’s just fine. The more the merrier, as they say, especially when the spirit moves you!
Caroling In The Caverns performances occur each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this year, from November 24th through December 17th, 2017. Times are as follows.

It’s tempting to laugh at something as crazy sounding as Mountain View’s Arkansas BeanFest and Championship Outhouse Races – until you realize this is the 32nd annual return of the festival … and laughter is a natural part of it!
The Arkansas BeanFest and Championship Outhouse Race was started in 1982 and has been held in late October every year since. Popular beyond imagining, the Arkansas BeanFest and Championship Outhouse Race routinely attracts crowds of 25,000 people or more from all over the country.
