The 28th annual Fort Smith Riverfront Blues Festival kicks off summer with an all-star lineup of blues artists, plus food, vendors, and more. Don’t miss the “best little blues festival in America” – June 22nd – 23rd, 2018.
The 2018 Fort Smith Riverfront Blues Festival is the continuation of a nearly 30-year, Arkansas tradition. People come from all around, every year, to soak up some of the finest rock and blues around. This year’s festival sees headliners Hadden Sayers (Friday) and Victor Wainwright & The Train (Saturday).
Texan singer/songwriter and guitarist, Hadden Sayers, is a master storyteller with a winning stage presence that will have you up on your feet. Victor Wainwright has been playing 300+ shows a year and being the crowd favorite at blues festivals and on the annual Blues Cruise since 2012. His raft of awards include 2016 BMA Entertainer of the Year, 2016 Blues Album of the Year, and three-time winner of the Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year. If you love honky-tonk piano, you’ll love Victor Wainwright & The Train!
The festival kicks off with a special, Thursday night Kickoff Party at Warren’s Rec Room in Alma, AR with Hot Springs’ own John Calvin Brewer Band. Other attractions at the 2-day festival include lots of great food and local vendors selling handmade goods.
Don’t miss it!
