Mountain View Bluegrass Festival 2018November brings three full days of bluegrass goodness to the Ozarks with the Fall session of Mountain View Bluegrass Festival 2018! November 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2018!

Mountain View Bluegrass Festival 2018 is the 16th annual return of what has become an Ozarks’ tradition.

The 3-day festival takes place every year at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, AR. Each day sees a jam-packed schedule of first rate, bluegrass music from local and regional bands.

Mountain View Bluegrass Festival has been going strong since 2001. In fact, it grew so popular, drawing so many wonderful musicians and large crowds alike, that it is held in two sessions, spring and fall.

Caroling in the Caverns at Blanchard Springs CavernsIf you’ve never experienced Caroling In The Caverns at Blanchard Springs Caverns, you’re missing out on one of the most unusual and stirring holiday attractions in the country! November 24th through December 17th, 2017.

Blanchard Springs Caverns, located just north of Mountain View, AR in Ozark National Forest, is an incredible, living cave that is always worth a visit. Once the end-of-the-year holidays roll around, however things really heat up with Caroling In The Caverns.

During Caroling In The Caverns, local musicians perform regional interpretations of classic carols. That may sound more typical than amazing but that’s because I haven’t mentioned that they perform these carols while deep within Blanchard Springs Caverns!

The 2015 Arkansas Folk Festival in Mountain View is the 53rd annual return of a popular folk and bluegrass music tradition, here in Arkansas, one featuring not just tons of great folk and bluegrass music but also frontier life demonstrations, handmade crafts, dancing, window decorating, and even a parade! Mountain View’s Arkansas Folk Festival is great fun – there’s even a free shuttle from downtown Mountain View to the Folk Center!

2014 Arkansas BeanFest and Championship Outhouse RacesIt’s tempting to laugh at something as crazy sounding as Mountain View’s Arkansas BeanFest and Championship Outhouse Races – until you realize this is the 32nd annual return of the festival … and laughter is a natural part of it!

The Arkansas BeanFest and Championship Outhouse Race was started in 1982 and has been held in late October every year since. Popular beyond imagining, the Arkansas BeanFest and Championship Outhouse Race routinely attracts crowds of 25,000 people or more from all over the country. They come for the free beans, they come to root at the outhouse races, they come for the crafts, the mountain music, and a really great, silly time.
