A “living” cave, the limestone formations you see in Blanchard Springs are still being formed and glisten with moisture. The delicate stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, and other formations here are the result of thousands of years of minerals being deposited.

This cave system has three levels, two of which are open to the public for a variety of different cave tours.

The beautiful and delicate crystalline formations you will see are the collective result of dripping water depositing minerals over thousands and thousands of years.

Blanchard Springs Caverns has three separate levels two of which are open to the public. Marvel at these large, beautifully lighted rooms from the safety and ease of paved trails behind handrails. Feeling more adventurous? Take a tour of the undeveloped section of the caverns where you will need to crawl through mud and clamber over rocks – I hope those aren’t your good pants!
